We have an old (1912) house with original windows and we live in Minnesota. Until we win the lottery and replace all the windows, we need a way to keep the Minnesota winter cold out as much as possible. I cannot believe the huge difference this product has made in our windows. On one in particular, I ran out of film so half is covered and the other isn't. If you put your hand on the glass and compare each half of the window in mid-February at 5-below, you can feel a HUGE difference in the glass. I ordered more rolls so I can complete our windows before winter sets in again.

solar film
I used the film on the glass blocks in my bathroom. The sun came throught very strong and made it quite warm. Once I put up the solar film the heat was reduced and you can't even tell I did anything.

Absolutely the BEST!
I recommend this VERY HIGHLY! I could NOT believe the difference it made in my apartment. I just wish I ordered this years ago. Even though it's alittle pricy ~ I'm glad I ordered it when it was "FREE" shipping, the only way to go. I plan to order again for my mom's house/windows.

Works Very Well!
GREAT Product!
I previously purchased a much 'higher priced' version at Home Depot, and it was a mess!
Then I tried the Solutions film: first purchase was one roll to 'try it out' ; 2nd purchase was for several rolls to complete the west and south facing windows; This final puchase was to finish off the east facing windows...
Works so well; easy to install and doesn't 'tint' the view outside . It has saved my draperies AND keeps the rooms much cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
