Environmentally Friendly Product
I ended up buying two of the 4-packs so I'd be sure to have enough, especially if I still have a couple in the fridge when I go shopping again. I bought these bags because I've been trying to eat healthier lately, so I was ending up with at least six plastic produce bags when I came home from the supermarket. All that plastic going in the trash felt so wasteful. I also like how they're more durable than the plastic bags - things like yams don't rip through them. The drawstring is great because the produce doesn't roll out when it's on the check-out belt, but it's easy for the cashier to open if necessary. I've had many other shoppers admire them, and ask where they could buy some for themselves. I think I'll get more as gifts for friends & family.

Best way to buy produce!
Hundreds, possibly thousands, of plastic produce bags were piling up in a drawer - even though we repurpose many for cat/dog clean-up! These mesh bags are the perfect solution. They're large enough for big stuff like celery and the checkout people don't mind them at all.
