I'm FOREVER 'losing' my keys, & I found this key finder to be quite helpful. The transmitter can be removed from its base so one can take it with him/her & check around different areas in the house, garage or wherever he/she might think they left the keys. Because there are two key ring receivers (to put on your key ring), a second person can use it to find their keys also. It's groovy-cool!!!
(I once ordered a 'clapper key finder' which would beep constantly: you didn't HAVE to clap & I was extremely disappointed with it.)

No more excuses
I was tired of always hearing my girlfriend complain that she could not find her keys. She thought it was the best gift ever and laughed when she seen it. She doesn't loose her keys anymore.

Overall good
We've had the same issue with the beeping for no reason, but it seems to have stopped and it already has helped my son find his keys on occasion. So I would say yes, I would recommend it.

Good product
Only problem with this product has been the beeping for no reason on the colored receiver on the key chain. I found by pushing on the black circle on the receiver, it will stop. Otherwise like the key finder.
